Job Description:
Hivemind is looking for a highly ambitious and results-driven
leader who will oversee capital formation, investor relations,
business development, and firm-wide marketing efforts in a
high-impact role. As the Head of Capital Formation and Business
Development, you will own the fundraising strategy, including the
fund and firm-level positioning as well as all relevant marketing
resources, to drive capital to our many investment vehicles. You
will ensure strong conviction and confidence in the firm by clearly
and frequently communicating with new and existing investors. Our
ideal candidate has a strong rolodex of institutional investors, a
proven track record of LP-stakes fund raising, a strategic vision
of building an enduring franchise and a tenacious ability to see
things through from end to end.Strategic Responsibilities
- Leverage and expand business and personal networks of
institutional allocators, wealth managers, family offices,
high-net-worth individuals, and industry contacts to identify &
pursue potential fundraising opportunities across Hivemind
investment strategies.
- Oversee the Marketing function to effectively position the
company's brand and investment opportunities in the market. Help
refine compelling and compliant narratives that attract capital and
reinforce investor confidence.
- Craft new investment strategies and contribute to the design of
new investment products to meet our investors' and partners'
distinctive and evolving demands.
- Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement
strategic initiatives that drive business growth and expand the
firm's investor base.
- Supply feedback to the executive team to help shape future
product offerings based off investor feedback.Tactical
Responsibilities
- Attend industry conferences, events, and networking
opportunities to promote Hivemind's brand and attract new
investment prospects.
- Provide regular updates to investors on fund performance,
market trends, and key investment opportunities.
- Build and maintain a strong rapport with investors and maintain
ongoing communication to nurture relationships and explore
opportunities for additional investment.
- Continuously assess investor sentiment, needs, and expectations
to tailor communication strategies and enhance investor
satisfaction and retention.
- Stay informed about industry trends and changes in the
investment landscape to identify new potential Capital Formation
opportunities.Requirements
- 10+ years' experience in Capital Formation and in Investor
Relations within an active asset manager, ideally but not
necessarily in the digital assets space.
- Proven track record of successfully raising capital for LP
stakes across institutional allocators and the wealth channel.
- Demonstrated track record in managing investor relationships
and delivering exceptional results.
- In-depth knowledge and deep passion for the digital asset
ecosystem and blockchain technology.
- Strong understanding of the investment management industry,
financial markets, and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational
skills, ensuring accurate and up-to-date tracking of
investor-related activities, including investor inquiries,
requests, and responses.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the
ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise
manner.
- Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills,
with the ability to connect with a diverse range of
stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.$175,000 - $225,000 a
yearCompensation:The expected base salary for this New York based
position ranges from $175,000.00 - $225,000.00. The actual base
salary will be determined on an individual basis taking into
account a number of factors including, but not limited to,
experience, education, relevant certifications, skills, and
geographic location. In addition to base salary and the competitive
benefits package listed above, this position is eligible for
additional types of compensation, including target-based
