This will involve developing core versions of software applications, identifying client requirements and technical specifications, interacting with engineering groups and training clients on applications.About the team:As a team member on the Protegent product suite's TCM 2.0 development team you will work with high volume, low latency trading solutions, joining a team of highly motivated and agile developers to maintain and support high volume, low latency components and data hubs. You will be working with our development teams on technical issues, put in performance improvements, and work on high volume data systems. You will get an opportunity to work with multiple products and businesses and develop a deep understanding of the interesting world of trading and compliance.What you will be doing:

• Designing, programming, debugging and modifying AWS, SQL and Spark software enhancements.
• Interacting with product managers and users to define requirements and modifications.
• Participating in software design meetings to determine technical requirements.
• Working with internal Client Training, Client Relationship and Sales teams.What you will need:
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in developing, testing, deploying, and debugging AWS, Spark jobs using Scala with excellent SQL knowledge and scripting knowledge.
  • Apache Spark: - Deep knowledge of Spark Core, working with RDDs, DataFrames, Datasets, and SparkSQL. - Expertise in Spark optimization techniques and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Scala.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix OS and shell scripting.
  • AWS Services: - Hands-on experience with AWS services such as IAM, S3, EMR, and EC2.
  • Workflow Orchestration: - Experience with tools like Airflow.
  • Databases: - Proficiency with SQL-based databases.
  • Snowflake experience is a plus.

The pay range for this full-time position is $99,830.00 - $167,700.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay.
