  • Night Shift.
    
  • From 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM.
    
  • Prepares and administers prescribed medications (orally, subcutaneously, or through an IV) and records the administration.
    
  • Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with policy on medication administration by a licensed registered nurse.
    
  • Educates patients on surgical procedures.
    
  • Records patients' medical information and vital signs.
    
  • Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients and interprets and records electronic displays.
    
  • Initiates corrective actions whenever necessary to ensure patient safety and care.
    
    Job Requirements:
    
    • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or possess a BSN.
      
      
    • Current state nursing license (or willingness to obtain).
      
      
    • 2 years of acute care experience in this specialty.
      
      
    • BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
