ongoing while hiring -Specialty: Emergency Medicine -Reason: new
hospital - opened Spring 2022 -Board Certification requirement:
ABEM OR IM/FM w/extensive EM experience -Volume: NOW 20,000 yr, but
planning for 40,000 year - still trying to determine with the
anticipated closure of a local hospital -Trauma Level/Designation:
none -Hospital Beds: 40 inpatient rooms starting April 1st -ED
Beds: 19-bay emergency department -Patients per hour: 1.6
-Schedule: days & nights -Shift length & times: 7a-7p, 7p-7a
-Coverage: Single MD coverage -Backup & APP support: APCS DAILY
9A-7P, 3P-1A MAY INCREASE COVERAGE -Admits: 6% admission rate -EMR:
EPIC -Respond to Floor Codes?: N -Scribes: N -License requirement:
Active PA license required -Life certification requirement: ATLS,
