We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Medical Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and analyses to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

*Medical Lab Tech/Blood Bank Technologist*
*Schedule - *Mon-Fri, 4p-12a + EOW, 1 hour lunch breaks
*Pay -* $62-$70/hr based on experience
*Travel - *$20/hr taxed + $2,000 Tax-free Stipend - $2,700 weekly gross


*Qualifications:*
* 1 year of blood bank experience
* AHA Basic Life Support Certification
* Start as soon as credentialed

*Medical Lab Tech Duties Include:*
* Perform blood typing, crossmatching, and antibody screening to ensure compatibility for blood transfusions.
* Maintain and operate blood bank equipment, including centrifuges, refrigerators, and incubators, to ensure proper storage and handling of blood products.
* Process blood donations and prepare blood components such as plasma, platelets, and red blood cells for patient use.
* Conduct tests to detect infections or abnormalities in donated blood, ensuring safety and compliance with health regulations.
* Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to assist with patient care, providing timely and accurate blood bank results for transfusion decisions.
