Job Description:

*Psychologist - $85k-$130k annual salary*. Our client is a leading *provider* of comprehensive services for individuals with *developmental disabilities*. They are committed to supporting their clients across the lifespan through compassionate, evidence-based, and person-centered care. They are currently seeking a *Psychologist with a PhD* to join their interdisciplinary team. This is a *full-time direct hire* opportunity*. *Paid medical insurance and PTO offered---The Psychologist will provide psychological assessments, behavior support planning, and therapeutic interventions for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The ideal candidate is a licensed psychologist with a strong background in developmental disorders, applied behavioral strategies, and collaborative care.*Responsibilities** Conduct diagnostic evaluations and psychological assessments to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.* Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior support plans (BSPs).* Provide therapy and counseling to individuals with developmental disabilities and co-occurring behavioral or mental health challenges.* Offer consultation and training to direct support professionals, families, and interdisciplinary team members.* Participate in team meetings to develop coordinated care plans.* Maintain detailed and timely documentation in compliance with agency standards and regulatory requirements.* Ensure all services are culturally competent and trauma-informed.* Provide crisis support and risk assessment when needed.*Qualifications** PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology or a related field from an accredited program.* Licensed Psychologist in the state of New York, or license-eligible with intent to obtain licensure within a set period.* Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (e.g., autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, Fragile X, etc.).* Strong understanding of behavioral interventions, developmental psychology, and trauma-informed care.* Ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills._Atlas Search is a tri-state area recruitment agency, connecting new graduates, Advanced Practice Providers, Physicians and Nurse Leaders to hospitals, clinics, multi-specialty groups, nursing homes, managed care companies, private practices, and healthcare start-ups. __If you would like to learn more about the opportunities we offer, please submit your CV for consideration here.__#IndeedHC_Job Type: Full-timePay: $85,000.00 - $130,000.00 per yearSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Day shift* Monday to FridayApplication Question(s):* What is the best phone number and email address to reach you?Experience:* Psychologist: 1 year (Preferred)* Developmental Disabilities/Intellectual Disabilities: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:* PhD (Required)Work Location: In personby Jobble
