In addition to performing the typical tasks of lower Assignment Levels at a higher level, also performs the following:_Examples of Typical Tasks_:1. Maintains a program of quality control and participates in a program of quality assurance.2. Advises staff on appropriate methods and techniques.3. Oversees the ordering and maintenance of laboratory supplies and equipment as well as the preparation, packaging, labeling, and standardization of laboratory media and reagents; and records results and pertinent data of prepared products or oversees this function.4. Prepares labels, packages, and standardizes laboratory media, reagents, controls and specimens for use in analyses.*Work Shifts: *7:00 A.M 3:30 P.M8:00 A.M 4:00 P.M8:30 A.M 4:30 P.M9:00 A.M 5:00 P.M10:00 A.M 6:00 P.M*Minimum Qualifications*:For Appointment to Level III:_In addition to meeting the qualification requirement of Assignment Level II, appointment to Level III requires:_1.
