Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Behavioral Health/Psychiatric Nursing Job Duration: 104 weeks Shift: 3x12 Night - 7:00 PM - 8:00 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of two years of psychiatric experience required License: New York State RN License with Primary Source Verification Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certified Must-Have: Proficiency in English (Read, Write, Speak) Job Description: - Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult behavioral health patients. - Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Perform thorough assessments to identify patients' psychological needs. - Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans. - Provide emotional support and education to patients and families. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing care and patient responses. - Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements. - Demonstrate strong crisis intervention and management skills. - Participate in continuous education and training to maintain clinical competencies.
