Job Description:

The Program Director is responsible for the administration and management of the People R'Us facility, ensuring the safety and protection of children while implementing policies and procedures in compliance with relevant regulations. This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, meeting regularly with the Executive Director to report on operations, and preparing written reports for the Board of Directors. The Program Director also plays a key role in staff development, program compliance, and maintaining budgetary guidelines.Responsibilities

• Develop and administer the analysis of training needs of staff
• Convening and facilitating staff meetings, case consultations, and special therapeutic activities
• Prepare annual performance evaluations of Medical Team, Counselor Supervisor, Residence Supervisor, and Administrative Assistant
• Recommend revisions of policies and procedures and implement program changes
• Review and audit all documentation, census reports, and files on a weekly basis
• Prepare for and conduct audits for funding agencies and other program management requirements
• Represent the program when responding to public and community inquiries and at all agency activities
• Ensure coordination of all program components and compliance with requirements of funding sources
• Develop and maintain marketing contacts with outside agencies and referral sources
• Recruit, hire, orient, train, discipline, and maintain adequate staffing coverage for the programRequirements
