Responsible for supervising, evaluating, counseling, and coaching care members on assigned units.* Makes daily rounds, visits every floor of responsibility, and checks acutely ill residents, admissions, and follows up on residents.* Performs periodic audit of charting and documentation. Assures proper execution of physician's orders.* Deals effectively, professionally, and tactfully with resident and family concerns.* Submits weekly and monthly reports on statistics, meetings, and other pertinent information.* Attends continuing education classes, seminars, workshops to maintain professional competency.* Responsible for identifying and resolving problems at the unit level.
