Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Editor to oversee the
development of their YA licensing publishing business and manage
editorial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit and oversee the development of the licensing YA list, ensuring
adherence to brand guidelines and standards
Acquire and edit non-licensed middle grade and YA novels
Act as project manager for scheduling, communication, and
production for all titles
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of editorial experience, preferably in licensed
publishing or young adult fiction
Strong structural and line-editing ability
Experience in negotiation and managing books through the
editorial/production process
Ability to manage multiple projects with excellent organizational
skills
Creative self-starter capable of working independently and
collaboratively
