Title: Staff Accountant

Location: Moorestown, NJ (Expect travel to Clearwater, FL)

Salary: $65,000 - $70,000

We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, managing general ledgers, overseeing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Generate internal reports for management and sales teams.
• Perform treasury functions such as weekly cash forecasting.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and analysis.
• Handle cost accounting functions.
• Support the budgeting process with data and analysis.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
• Prepare and file tax returns.
• Assist external auditors by providing documentation and explanations.
• Collaborate with collections specialists to recover delinquent accounts and investigate customer account issues.
• Contribute to special projects and perform other duties as needed. Qualifications:
  
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting operations.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (experience with MFG Pro is a plus).
  • Advanced understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Strong mathematical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact across all levels of an organization.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
